Hede reference formats
Paste any of these references: BerthTime detects the type and the carrier. Carrier code (SCAC): HDUJ.
- Container number
- 11 characters (ISO 6346): a 4-letter owner code ending in U, a 6-digit serial number and a check digit.
- Hede mostly uses leased containers, so the owner code does not show the carrier: choose Hede when you add a container, or track the bill of lading.
- Bill of lading
- Hede master BL numbers usually look like this: HDUJ followed by 8 to 14 letters or digits.
- A BL brings in all the containers on it.
- A house BL issued by a forwarder is not known to Hede: use the master BL or the container numbers instead.
- Booking number
- Not tracked by booking yet: use the bill of lading or the container numbers.
Data you get for Hede shipments
- One milestone row per container: empty out, gate-in, loading, departure (ETD), arrival (ETA), discharge, pick-up and empty return, with the vessel and voyage.
- Vessel name and voyage for each sea leg, when Hede gives them.
- Hede's ETA, with an email alert when the delay passes the threshold you set.
- A predicted arrival computed from the vessel's AIS position, labelled as an estimate, when the vessel is identified and within AIS range.
- The same shipment data over the REST API and signed webhooks.
